Los Angeles, CA (December 4, 2012) – Today Orange County, California-based NFocus Entertainment in association with Make It Happen Productions is broadcasting a new half-hour two episode music television series entitled “Real Music Live,” to air on NBC Owned Television Stations in select major markets at 1am immediately following the December 22nd and January 5th episodes of “Saturday Night Live.” Hosted by radio DJ personality Prolifik, and actresses Hayley Marie Norman and Cherrilyn Silva, “Real Music Live” is designed to revive the tradition of the true live TV music experience - real musicians performing in front of a real live audience.

Mark Hill of NFocus Entertainment is the show’s Creator and Executive Producer who honed in on the music industry’s need to reconnect with its audience while allowing fans to interact with the recording artists they love from every music genre including Rock, Pop, Hip Hop, R&B, and more. “With the increasing number of music competition TV shows being added to today’s programming, we aimed to produce a highly evolved social television platform that honors the tradition of real musicians performing in front of a live audience; ‘Real Music Live’ is that platform,” says Hill of the show’s concept.    

“Real Music Live” has something for everyone, with performers that range from Platinum-selling established artists, to emerging entertainers playing a vast assortment of chart-toppers and fan favorites. Among the artists appearing in the series are the renowned rock band Hoobastank, acclaimed R&B band Mint Condition, X-Factor season one finalist and Epic recording artist Chris Rene, American Idol finalist and Interscope recording artist Haley Reinhart, popular Los Angeles-based indie band Early Morning Rebel, and R&B crooner Luke James. The show also includes a special in-studio session performance by R&B Diva Faith Evans.

Fans and viewers of Real Music Live can also get a backstage pass with RML: Beyond the Stage, a companion behind-the-scenes special featuring up-close and personal celebrity interviews and other exclusive footage from the show. RML: Beyond the Stage is hosted by Kristin Adams of G4 Network’s “Cheat!” and set to air during the month of December on NBC Nonstop.

With the incredible synergy of the show’s dynamic hosts, electrifying performances, and interactive audience, Real Music Live promises to deliver an array of entertainment that not only gives viewers an exciting music experience, but also attract corporate sponsors that resonate with their core audience. As a new television program still in its early stages, the producers of Real Music Live are open to aligning with brands looking to support music TV programming that is real, organic and authentic.

The two half-hour specials of “Real Music Live” will air late night at 1 AM, immediately following the December 22nd and January 5th episodes of “Saturday Night Live.” The show will broadcast on NBC Owned Stations and NBC Nonstop in six major markets including: Los Angeles, New York, Miami,

‘The Man With the Iron Fists’ Exclusive – On the Set with RZA: First Person Shooter

Having the blessings of Eli Roth and Quentin Tarantino, RZA’s directorial debut The Man with the Iron Fists is one of my most anticipated films for the rest of 2012. In a new featurette, RZA talks about the experience of sitting in the director’s chair for the first time (although we’re not sure how much he actually got to sit there, since he was also starring in the movie) as well as some of the biggest influences on the highly imaginative world he’s created — comic books and Japanese animation. Watching some of the fight scenes, you can definitely see their influence the slightly over-the-top yet heavily stylized action. He also gives a bit of advice for all the aspiring directors out there: don’t forget to spend some time with your cameras, and really get to know your equipment.
